A chart making the rounds this week showed there are now roughly 1,000 more ETFs than publicly traded U.S. stocks. For some reason, that statistic seems to ruffle a few feathers. If you’re among the concerned, consider this gem from Morningstar’s Ben Johnson, which should help put things in perspective: “If brown rice is factored in, there are more than 115,200 Chipotle menu combinations.”
