MicroStrategy, which owns nearly 425,000 bitcoin on its balance sheet, has been selected for inclusion in the Nasdaq-100 index. Over $400 billion in ETF assets directly track this benchmark, including the Invesco QQQ ETF (QQQ) and the Invesco NASDAQ 100 ETF (QQQM). Many investors, whether they like it or not, will now have indirect exposure to bitcoin.

ETF Chart of the Week
Flows into ETFs and out of mutual funds certainly are not a new phenomenon, but they continue to accelerate. As Cerulli’s Daniil Shapiro notes:
“The ETF structure is becoming the everything structure for the investment management industry.”
I won’t belabor the point as it has been well-documented for going on a decade-plus now, but these charts never fail to impress me.
